HARRIS — Bark River-Harris and Menominee went the distance in a non-conference volleyball match with the Broncos picking up the win over Menominee in five sets, (25-14, 20-25, 25-19, 24-26, 15-12) here Tuesday.
The Broncos got off to a fast start, as sophomore Alana Nault started the game with a 13-point scoring run including a pair of aces.
“I was really trying to keep the energy up,” Nault said. “I just wanted to encourage my teammates and get us going right from the start.”
Broncos senior Dakota Bridges also came up big during the run as she tallied four kills during the scoring run.
Menominee finally got on the board as senior Jazmine Jasenovsky delivered a serve just inside the line for an ace, one of two on the night.
