Qantas has announced that it has ordered another 20 examples of the Airbus A321XLR , the majority of which will be used to provide extra comfort and range on transcontinental and medium-haul international routes. Accounting for its existing orders and deliveries of the type, its commitment to the A321XLR is now close to 50.
The news comes as the Australian flag carrier releases its full-year results for the 2024/25 financial year, which saw the airline perform strongly across various economic metrics.
