Our run of recent cool mornings was dialed up a notch Thursday with temperatures in the low to mid 40s in most spots! With lots of sun (especially prior to dinnertime) and a wind out of the south, temperatures will soar well into the 70s. While an approaching cold front will provide a few showers overnight into Friday, the trend is for clearing skies and drier conditions heading into Labor Day Weekend!

Clouds will be on the increase from northwest to southeast later today, and a few showers may fire up over the Adirondacks just before sunset. But for the rest of us, expect a gorgeous weather day with low levels of humidity and slightly cooler than average high temperatures.
