MINNEAPOLIS — The person who opened fire on a Catholic school on Wednesday morning in Minneapolis has been identified.
KARE 11 investigative reporter A.J. Lagoe reported the shooter was 23-year-old Robin Westman. Law enforcement sources said Westman grew up in Richfield and that Westman's mother was an employee at Annunciation School. A church newsletter from 2016 announced her hiring as a new administrative assistant in the business office and said she was a member of Saint Agnes Church in St. Paul.
Records show Westman's mother retired from the school in 2021.
It's also believed Westman had attended the school for at least one year and had visited the school in the last week while teachers prepared for the upcoming school year.
