64% of the national lubricant market value is manufactured in Venezuela, while 36% of the products entering the country are imported, according to Antonio Rodríguez, president of the National Association of Grease and Lubricating Oil Manufacturers (AFALUB), in a press conference.

The union leader indicated that this correlation was previously 50-50, which is why an increase in production capacity is seen. He added that according to a recent study conducted by Afalub, the domestic market had an annual volume of more than 2024 liters in 79.000.000, so they expect this trend to continue this year.
