DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Police are investigating what led to a shooting late Wednesday night at a townhome complex on TW Alexander Drive in Durham.

According to the Durham Police Department, officers were called to a gunshot wound victim around 9:20 p.m. at Creekside Townhomes, a complex off the busy south Durham road.

Officers said Thursday that they found a man with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. The man was taken by emergency responders to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officers said his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
