Safety and security are a huge part of airport etiquette, from that one item that guarantees TSA will search your bag to remembering the simple but often forgotten things you shouldn't do at the airport . There are, however, little things that sometimes fall into a gray area (or so many think). One of them is when a stranger asks you to watch their bag at the airport. In a recent Reddit post , someone asked, "AITA ... after I was asked to watch someone's bag at the gate, and I said no?"
The answers were a mix of yes and no, with others arguing that if the luggage has gone through airport security, surely there is no harm. While that's quite a logical defense, airport and flight staff always say no to watching a stranger's bag at the airport. Even if it's a seemingly harmless elderly
