AUSTINTOWN An Austintown man has been arrested on two counts of felonious assault following an alleged road rage incident that terrorized two motorcyclists.
Joseph King, 65, of N. Navarre Avenue, was taken to the Mahoning County Jail on Wednesday on a warrant issued by the Austintown Police Department.
According to a police report, the alleged incident occurred on the afternoon of August 15. Two motorcyclists told police they were traveling west on Mahoning Avenue when they saw a car driven by King make an abrupt U-turn and begin following them aggressively.
The victims told police that King repeatedly drove close to their motorcycles, forcing them to swerve into a curb lane near the Giant Eagle to avoid being hit. One of the motorcyclists gave police a video taken by a witness that s
