WILLIAMSTON, S.C. —

The father of an infant who is in critical condition at a Greenville hospital has now been arrested, according to the Anderson County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said they were called about 6 a.m. Wednesday to a home on Turkey Trot Road about a 2-month-old infant who was in cardiac arrest. Latest Forecast

First responders performed life-saving measures until the child was taken by EMS to Greenville Memorial Hospital.

The sheriff's office said while being treated at the hospital, it was discovered that the child had injuries consistent with possible abuse.

As a result of the investigation, detectives have charged the child’s father, Randon Avery Rolback, with unlawful conduct toward a child.
