PORTLAND, Ore. — One person died following a collision between a truck and a sedan Thursday morning in Vancouver. Homicide detectives have been called out to investigate the scene, Clark County Sheriff's Office said.

CCSO initially reported one person was seriously injured, but later confirmed to KGW about the fatality.

The crash occurred around 4:18 a.m. near the intersection of Northeast 20th Avenue and Northeast 139th Street. Northeast 20th Avenue is closed between Northeast 139th Street and Northeast 144th Street were closed due to the investigation, but have since reopened.

No other details have been released.
