MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile Police Department officers have arrested a local man after a stabbing that led to serious injuries.
According to an MPD news release, officers were flagged down in the area of Airport Boulevard and South Florida Street around 7:45 p.m. on Aug. 27 for a report of a stabbing.
When officers stopped, they found the victim and had him taken to the hospital.
Officers reportedly determined that the stabbing happened in the 600 block of Glenwood Street.
Officials said they arrested 25-year-old Wilson Antonio Garcia-Rodriguez, of Mobile, and charged him with second-degree assault.
