Asda will be opening three new Express stores in Greater Manchester as part of its new programme. Shops in Manchester, Salford and Wigan will be among the 20 new spots coming to the region in early October.

The new stores will see Asda grow its footprint in high-footfall urban areas, residential locations, and transport hubs – sites where the retailer has traditionally had limited presence.

The Greater Manchester locations will be on Mesnes Road, Wigan, Liverpool Road, Cadishead, and Square Gardens in Manchester. The phase will see Asda's first store open in Castleford, before the project commences with further openings in 20 more locations across the month.
