A teenager is in hospital after being found with stab wounds in Middleton on Thursday (August 28).

Police initially responded to reports of a man who was injured on Long Street in the town centre, before an area outside the Harbord Harbord was taped off.

Witnesses claimed that the victim 'went inside for help' following the incident, but this has not yet been confirmed.

One victim, an 18-year-old, later attended hospital with stab wounds. Police say his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

An investigation has been launched into the incident. How the victim sustained his stab injuries is currently not known, with CCTV enquiries being carried out.
