A second North Iowa man has been charged with breaking into Sparboe in Goodell and stealing cooper wire from inside and outside the building.

Dustin Dean DeVries, 43, Grafton, has arrested Wednesday on a warrant for ongoing criminal conduct, a Class B felony; one count of first-degree theft, a Class C felony; one count of first-degree criminal mischief, a Class C felony; and three counts of third-degree burglary, a Class D felony.

According to charging documents, DeVries broke into Sparboe three times during the month of March, causing more than $10,000 in damage.

The value of the copper and other goods stolen from the business was more than $10,000.

DeVries is being held on $60,000 cash or surety bond.
