A 33-year-old man is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder, after he allegedly struck two people with his vehicle in North York on Wednesday night.

Toronto police said they were called to a parking lot in the Don Mills Road and Gateway Boulevard area around 10:20 p.m. Wednesday for reports of a collision.

In a news release on Thursday, police said the incident allegedly began when two men got into an argument and one of the men got into his car and struck the other with his vehicle.

When he reversed the vehicle, he allegedly struck a second man, police said.

It's unclear if the victims and suspect are known to each other.
