An international sushi restaurant is to open its first Scottish location in Glasgow this December.
SticksʹnʹSushi will open in George Square and feature the company's first standalone cocktail bar. Founded in Copenhagen in 1994 by half-Danish, half-Japanese brothers Jens and Kim Rahbek and their brother-in-law Thor Andersen, the Danish-Japanese restaurant group has opened diners in Copenhagen, Berlin, Oxford, Cambridge, and London.
Now, they are bringing their signature blend of sushi with grilled sticks (kushiyaki) to Glasgow, opening in the former Assaggini, which closed on August 16 after opening in 2024.
