Four Johnson County state lawmakers were among those who traveled to Washington, D.C. to meet with Trump administration officials Tuesday.

Senate President Pro Tem Rod Bray, R-Martinsville, and Reps. Craig Haggard, R-Mooresville, Michelle Davis, R-Whiteland, and Robb Greene, R-Shelbyville, this week attended the White House State Leadership Conference. The conference was an opportunity for Indiana’s elected officials and White House officials to foster collaboration and discuss the top issues affecting Hoosiers, the lawmakers said in statements from their offices.

Although the conference came after Vice President JD Vance visited the Indiana Statehouse to ask that legislative leaders and Gov. Mike Braun consider early redistricting, the conference was not solely focused on that.
