NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A 23-year-old man was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual battery following an incident involving a child outside a Lischey Avenue home on Wednesday evening, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

The child’s mother told police that her nine-year-old son was sexually assaulted by their neighbor, Mynor Humberto Tomas, according to an arrest affidavit.

The nine-year-old told officers that he was playing at the house next door when Tomas arrived home. The child said as he went to greet Tomas at his car, Tomas grabbed him and pulled him close, instructing him to perform oral sex on him, the affidavit states.
