NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The shooter responsible for the deadly attack at a Catholic school in Minneapolis wrote about his admiration for school shooters, including Audrey Hale, WSMV4 Investigates has learned.

Hale shot and killed six people, three nine-year-olds and three adults, at the Covenant School in Nashville on March 27, 2023.

At the time of the shooting at Covenant, Hale used male pronouns and used the name “Aiden.”

The investigative unit at our sister NBC station in Minneapolis, KARE 11, obtained copies of Westman’s writing that was posted on YouTube.
