MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Madison Police Department is looking for more information after an armed robbery at a grocery store on the city’s near east side, officials said Thursday.

MPD was sent to a store in the 2500 block of Shopko Drive for a report of an armed robbery, police said.

When officers arrived, they spoke with a cashier who said a man demanded money from the register and implied he had a gun.

MPD said officers looked around the area and are still trying to find the suspect.
