The University of Alabama in Huntsville announced Thursday that it was offering up to $8,000 in scholarship money to graduates of Space Camp at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.

“This scholarship reflects UAH’s deep connection to space, science, and innovation,” Michael Poll, vice provost for enrollment management at UAH, said in a news release. “Space Camp does more than inspire—it equips students with the foundational skills and mindset needed for success in STEM. By connecting these young innovators to institutions like UAH, we’re helping prepare the next generation of engineers, scientists, and technology leaders who will power the region’s future.”
