BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ) - A deadly school shooting in Minneapolis Wednesday has many feeling shaken, especially as students and staff are starting to head back to school.

“I know at Virginia Tech we understand that history and take it into account,” said Amy Marshall, a professor of psychology at Virginia Tech.

Every headline about a school shooting doesn’t just mark another tragedy. For some, it causes them to relive one.
