LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Deadly shootings like the one this week in Minneapolis can leave many kids and parents with questions. It’s a conversation that might be difficult, but can also help more than you might think.
“Certainly it’s hard to think about both for parents and families and certainly for children as well,” said Rachel Buehner, a psychologist in Louisville who also works as a therapist for both adults and children.
Buehner said it’s normal for kids to have questions and concerns after something like a school shooting.
