Tioga Downs Casino Resort

NICHOLS, N.Y. (WENY) -- Tioga Downs Casino Resort presented a $70,000 donation to the Southern Tier Veterans Support Group Thursday night.

The money was raised during Tioga Downs' annual benefit concert, which was held on July 3. Ticket sales raised $35,000 for the support group and the Gural family, who owns Tioga Downs, matched the funds.

Officials say the donation will help the nonprofit continue its work in the community.
