BLISSFIELD, Mich. — Whiteford cruised to a 56-0 victory Thursday at Blissfield in the high school football season opener for both teams.

The Bobcats carried a 44-0 advantage into halftime.

Brek Ruddy finished with three total touchdowns and a two-point conversion for Whiteford. He rushed for 128 yards on just seven carries, while Andres Trejo finished with 83 yards on 10 carries. Drew Ruddy had a pair of one-yard TD runs to go with his 62 yards rushing.

Whiteford held a 345-123 advantage over Blissfield on the ground.

Other scores for the Bobcats came from Brody Hillard on a 23-yard reception, Antonio Nachtrab on a 22-yard run, and Trejo, also a 22-yard run.
