Congressman Josh Harder announced new legislation to expand food assistance for students at San Joaquin Delta College as SNAP cuts impact 22,000 people in San Joaquin County, according to the Center for American Progress.
Rep. Josh Harder, visited the food pantry at San Joaquin Delta College, where he helped bag items as part of his effort called "Josh on the Job."
"This food pantry is a huge step in the right direction, but it can't do it alone," Harder said.
Oswaldo Guzman, a father and student at Delta College, is one of those impact by the cuts.
