The divisive, argumentative Scottsdale City Council finally found something to agree on almost without reservation.
To borrow from a TV show: Everybody loves WestWorld.
Councilwoman Kathy Littlefield called WestWorld “hugely important for Scottsdale.”
The Scottsdale native and longtime representative read a letter from former Mayor Sam Campana, who called WestWorld “a cornerstone of Scottsdale … the beating heart of Scottsdale’s equestrian community.”
“WestWorld is a gem,” Mayor Lisa Borowsky said.
“Its amazing how much goes on at this facility,” added Councilwoman Solange Whitehead.
Councilwoman Maryann McAllen said equestrian events at WestWorld “help us stay true to our roots.”
Councilman Barry Graham called WestWorld “treasured.”
The six council representatives and Mayor Lisa B
