The Junior League of Lubbock is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, hosting a special meeting Sept. 8 to kick off a year of events marking nearly a century of leadership, service, and lasting community impact in the community.

Since its founding in 1935 as the Junior Welfare League of Lubbock, the League has been a driving forcebehind numerous programs, initiatives, and partnerships that have strengthened the Lubbock community.
