Officers with the Sebastopol Police Department made two arrests on Thursday, August 28, following a shoplifting investigation.

According to police, Candie Trent was arrested and charged with shoplifting and possession of stolen property. During the same incident, officers also arrested Blake Dooley on outstanding warrants.

Both individuals are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

Authorities remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
