TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — There’s a new face in the race for Governor, and Twin Falls residents got a chance to meet her at a community-focused town hall meeting on Thursday.

Maxine Durand was at the Lamphouse Theater taking questions from the public and to share her vision for Idaho. Durand, who announced she was running earlier this year, says her campaign is built on making Medicare available for all Idahoans and increasing the availability of affordable housing.

She also wants to increase funding in the state school system, while adding dual enrollment, allowing high school students to earn both a diploma and a 2-year degree at the same time.
