PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Some Valley adult high school students now have access to a new learning lab, focusing on improving their classroom experience.
At the Goodwill Excel Center , adult students will get to utilize the new state-of-the-art Cox Innovation Lab . The space is designed to give students access to the latest technology and a hands-on experience to prepare them for future careers.
“It’s essentially a STEM classroom. They’ll be able to practice podcasting, 3D printing, use VR headsets to explore careers,” said Katrina Thurman, chief mission and education officer with Goodwill.
The new lab was made possible thanks to a grant from Cox Communications.
