Southport Airshow returns this weekend with a variety of rare and historic aircraft taking to the skies above the Sefton Coast. There will be dazzling aerial displays from the likes of RAF Typhoon, the Rolls Royce Spitfire, and the Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight.
The airshow will take place on both Saturday, August 30, and Sunday, August 31, from 10am until 5pm. Tickets for the show cost £12.
Spectators will also be able to watch jaw-dropping performances from the Aerosuperbatics Wingwalkers and the Falcons Parachute Display Team. Although this year the Red Arrows will not be participating in the air show.
As well as in the air, there also will also be lots of fun on the ground too. At the Military Village, located on Marine Drive, equipment will be displayed from the Armed Forces.
