BRUCEVILLE-EDDY, Texas (KWTX) - Bruceville-Eddy ISD says a middle school student was arrested after allegedly making threats against the district.

Following District Policy and Texas State Law, the student has not been in class today following the threats, the district says.

“A student at Bruceville-Eddy Junior High has made comments he was going to bring a gun and shoot the school down, according to other students,” an arrest affidavit states.

According to the affidavit, other students said he made the same comments last year and was put in a room by himself on another campus.

“Students also state that he makes threats on the bus and that they were scared of him and don’t feel safe riding the bus,” according to the affidavit.
