ROCHESTER, Minn. — Olmsted County will soon release a Request for Proposals (RFP) to find a consultant to guide the future development of the former Seneca Foods property near Graham Park.

The RFP will be available on September 2 via Olmsted County’s electronic bidding system powered by IonWave Technologies. Proposals must be submitted by September 19.

This initiative aims to help the Olmsted County Board of Commissioners determine the optimal use of this valuable site.

The chosen consultant will evaluate the site's potential by assessing market conditions, zoning status, and financial projections. Olmsted County says a key task will be engaging the community through innovative methods to gather input and facilitate workshops, ensuring active involvement from residents, stakeholders
