Airbus UK workers who planned to take industrial action against the manufacturer have postponed their strike, as they wait to vote on a new pay offer. The workers are part of Unite, a leading union in the United Kingdom, which urged its members to strike due to pay disputes.

The industrial action threatened to disrupt the production of wings for Airbus’ core commercial and military aircraft programs and delay aircraft deliveries. The postponement will come as a relief for the manufacturer, although industrial action could resume in late September.
