Veteran Fox News anchor John Roberts is opening up on his “severe” case of malaria after suffering “uncontrolled shivering” while on the air this week.

The 68-year-old, who refuted AI reports of his death earlier this year, revealed he’s currently battling a serious bout of the mosquito-borne illness that the CDC warns can be life-threatening “if not quickly diagnosed and appropriately treated.”

Roberts said he was diagnosed with the potentially fatal disease on Monday.

“I had been hurting from the top of my head to the tip of my toes. Literally everywhere,” he told People. “I was also beset with uncontrolled shivering all during my show.”
