KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A North Kansas City man is charged with aiming a laser pointer at an airplane.

A federal grand jury indicted 53-year-old Aaron Randall Class earlier this month. He was arrested this week.

Class is accused of aiming a laser pointer at an aircraft on Nov. 23, 2024. Court documents did not indicate exactly where the incident happened, but it was investigated by the North Kansas City Police Department.

If convicted, Class faces up to five years in federal prison.
