FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A 26-year-old Fort Wayne man who held his ex-girlfriend at gunpoint for money to pay his court fees was sentenced Friday.
Tresean Jackson pleaded guilty to armed robbery in exchange for burglary and intimidation charges being dismissed. Allen Superior Court Judge Fran Gull sentenced him to six years in prison.
His ex-girlfriend reported that he had pointed a gun at her while demanding money, court records say.
They had been in a rocky “on again, off again” relationship for about a year and a half, court documents say. The woman told police she considered the relationship over because Jackson was abusive.
