MADISON (WKOW) -- Friday morning, fans of 105.5 Triple M's morning show had to say goodbye to one of the beloved hosts.

Kitty from Johnathon and Kitty had her final morning show, retiring after more than 30 years.

It was a bittersweet end to the show as the duo spoke about her stepping away from the mic.

"I get to play music that I've loved my whole life and also learn about new music. So that's great too, but I guess, even better than that is I get to be wiseacre and get paid for it, instead of always getting written up and, you know, sent to the principal's office, for example." said Kitty. "I just get to be myself and help wake up. Madison, it's been my pleasure."

Kitty says she is most excited about not having to get up early and go somewhere while it's still dark.
