Thrift Haus, a new clothing-centric thrift shop, will open its doors in St. Louis Park with a grand opening celebration on Sept. 6.

The shop bills itself as "a new kind of thrift store," featuring used women's and men's clothing, as well as accessories, sourced from New York and local donors.

While that sounds an awful lot like most thrift shops, the store says it's an antidote to big box shopping, keeping the majority of items below $10 and sourcing clothing from "areas in the U.S. where people may not have access to — like New York and Los Angeles."

Owner Julie Boehland tells Bring Me The News that she's sourcing "Grade A clothing" from a wholesaler in the New York area, offering "unique brands and styles that we do not see in the Midwest."
