Minnesota State Fair isn't the only place to try new foods in the Twin Cities.
Here's a rundown of the newest restaurants in Minnesota, as well those that said goodbye this month.
Openings
Arya Café (4603 Minnehaha Ave., Minneapolis): A new coffee shop serving pastries from Rustica Bakery is now open near Minnehaha Falls. Arya Café's owners plan to introduce community-focused events, with art, jazz and comedy nights in the works. Read more here.
Café de Paris (15322 Galaxie Ave., Apple Valley): A new French bakery is drawing crowds in Apple Valley. Fresh-baked treats include apricot croissants, apple tarts, blueberry danishes, cheesecake and more.
Khue’s Kitchen (693 Raymond Ave., St. Paul): Vietnamese restaurant Khue's Kitchen is now open in St. Paul, one year after a fire destroyed
