BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - Many kids have gone missing in various states recently. In North Dakota, 11 children went missing, and while nine of them have been found, six more were added to the Missing Persons website.

To find a missing child, the process often starts with parents calling friends and family. If that fails, the next step is to go to the police and file a missing person report.

“That report will get sent up to Report Review, and then it gets handed off to a sergeant up in Investigations, or an investigator, and a lot of times, that individual will do what they can to find the missing person,” said Lieutenant Luke Gardiner, patrol commander at the Bismarck Police Department.
