DOUGLAS COUNTY, Neb. —

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office along with the Omaha Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service found a missing 20-month-old and arrested two people.

On June 13, 2025, DCSO was made aware of a juvenile who was made a ward of the state in April through a custody order.

According to the sheriff's office, the child's parents hid the juvenile at multiple locations "in an attempt to circumvent the immediate custody order."

Law enforcement said the parents lied about the child's whereabouts by providing false information to multiple government entities in multiple states.

Then on June 26, 2025, the child was entered into the National Crime Information Center as a missing juvenile.
