"She was just a very special person inside and out. Loved her family fiercely. [She] was a great mom. She, she really was my best friend," Chastain says, "She was beautiful. She had one of the prettiest smiles I've ever seen."
Emily was 24 when she died of an accidental overdose.
"We looked for places for her to get help, and she finally found somewhere to go," Chastain says. "She came to live with us after leaving the recovery home, and that's when she made the decision to try to do something one more time,
