Two people have serious injuries after they were shocked by a power line in southeast Calgary on Friday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the area of 24 Street and 76 Avenue SE in the community of Ogden around 5 p.m. for reports of injuries.

Paramedics tell CityNews two people were electrically shocked after a ladder came in contact with a power line.

Both victims were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, including one in potentially life-threatening condition.
