BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - New reaction from the Housing Authority Birmingham Division following the arrests of four adults Birmingham Police say encouraged middle school children to fight each other at Tom Brown Village. The events were caught on camera and shared to social media.

HABD leaders say officers were able to arrest the people involved roughly an hour after the fights took place. Both officials and people who grew up in the area are calling for adults to set a better example.

“Making sure our residents are safe, that’s our highest priority, when it comes to children, they are our future,” said Ken Foreman, who serves as the Director of Public Safety for HABD.
