The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s — considered the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research programs — is being joined by the Alzheimer’s Association of Santa Barbara.

The event is slated for Saturday, Nov. 15, at Chase —Palm Park “Great Meadow” in Santa Barbara, running concurrent with other events held on the Central Coast, each dedicated to the fight.

Participants will gather on "Walk Day" to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s, kicking off with a Promise Garden ceremony. During the ceremony, walkers will carry flowers of various colors, each color representing their personal connection to the disease.
