The Panthers rushed for 400 yards and squared their record at 1-1 with a win at Gilroy Thursday. The game was the season opener for the Mustangs.
Andy Hernandez rushed for two Panthers touchdowns. Abraham Yip ran for one touchdown and caught an Alijah Gomez touchdown pass for another.
Gomez was seven-for-10 passing for 125 yards and a touchdown. The PV quarterback also ran for a score.
The Panthers will play a non-league game at Nipomo next Friday at 7 p.m.

The Central Coast Tennis Classic will take place Sept. 23-29 at the Templeton Tennis Ranch.
Players will compete for $60,000 in prize money and WTA World Tour ranking points.
