COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center has been experiencing a network outage that has closed an urgent care location, according to a spokesperson with the hospital.

The spokesperson told 10TV on Friday that the outage is affecting the hospital's information technology system.

The Advanced Urgent Care at Ohio State East Hospital is closed, the spokesperson said. Wexner Medical Center remains open.

Engineers are working to restore service, according to the spokesperson. It is unclear at this time what caused the outage.
