DUBLIN, Ga. — Fairview Park Hospital has completed a $12 million renovation and expansion project that includes a larger intensive care unit and improvements to its telemetry unit, which monitors patients' vital signs.
The project focused on patient safety and care, according to hospital officials.
"It feels good to be able to serve the people in our community," said Rachel Moore, telemetry director. "We're a small town and it's nice to be able to treat our family, our friends, our neighbors in the way that they need."
Moore has worked at Fairview Park Hospital for 18 years , treating various types of patients including those with heart conditions, strokes, dialysis needs and respiratory illnesses.
